Full-Time Corporate Executive Chef / Seattle, WA

Full-time Executive Chef needed for tech company in downtown Seattle for lunch M-F as well as in-house breakfast and evening meetings and private events. The successful candidate will also assist in hiring and on-boarding culinary team.

Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible)
Compensation: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Leads culinary teams in driving consistent successful service
• Develops new recipes, and plans menus using focusing on Clients’ needs and expectations using seasonal and high-quality product
• Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives
• Ability to work closely with both client and sales team in creating amazing menus and experiences for each individual event and client
• Hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, evaluation, and terminations of the culinary team
• Performing administrative tasks, taking inventory of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders
• Setting and monitoring performance standards for the kitchen team
• Collaborate with executive management and ownership to create a successful and efficient operation

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of numerous culinary styles and presentations
  • Experience in developing menus and serving guests from 50-500 in a single service
  • Proficient in human resources management
  • Advanced knowledge of BOH systems, equipment, ordering, and inventory
  • Excellent communication skills demonstrated problem-solving and leadership capabilities, and financial acumen
  • Food Handler s Certificate
  • Available to work on-call, shifts, after hours, over weekends, and holidays
