Full Time Private Chef / Hawaii – FILLED
Our client is looking for a full-time chef for himself and his twin teenage sons.
Location: Kaanapali, HI
Schedule: Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri & Sun with 8-10 days off per month.
Service Times: Breakfast for sons served at 7:30am and client himself at 9:00am. Dinner is served between 7:30-8:00pm
Cuisine: Diversified and healthy cuisine. Partial to American, Mediterranean, French, Italian and local cuisine.
Compensation: Dependent on experience, $90K-$120K; plus benefits and 2 weeks vacation.
Essential skills:
- Set the tone for a creative and inspired kitchen and dining area/ambiance
- Understand, manage, and execute all aspects of food cost, budgeting, sourcing, menu development, and
- Create weekly fresh and healthy breakfast and dinner menus using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
- Dessert & pastry experience
- Produce and maintain the highest food quality and operating procedures.
- Assure the highest health, hygiene, sanitation, safety, and food storage standards.
- Shop, order, and acquire food, supplies, and any necessary equipment for the kitchen upon client’s approval.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, accept direction & deliver the highest standards to meet the client’s mealtime needs.
- Ability to move about the workplace efficiently with care and consideration to noise and spatial awareness. Responsible for all shopping, restocking, and inventory management.
- Maintain and monitor all kitchen wares and equipment.
- Has a diverse experience with a variety of food styles.

Job requirements:
- Minimum of 3 + years Chef experience
- Culinary Degree optimal
- Food ServSafe certification
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record
- US work authorization
