Part-Time Private Chef / Rollingwood TX
Private Chef needed for family based in Rollingwood, TX 4-5 times per week, mostly dinners with occasional exceptions. Two adults and three children, ages 2, 4 and 8. Full service on site expected. Minimum two years experience working as a Private Chef. Must be versatile in various cuisines, including Italian and Mediterranean. Chef is expected to source fresh, organic, ideally local ingredients (wild caught, grass fed mandatory).

Minimum two years experience working as a Private Chef. Must be versatile in various cuisines, including Italian and Mediterranean. Days: 4-5 days per week. Typically Monday to Friday with flexibility.
Times: Approx. 2pm – 7:00pm. Dinner served between 6pm and 6:30pm.
Rate: Based on experience and skill. Client would prefer flat monthly rate and is open to rotating two chefs.
Format: Family Style with occasional plated
Dietary Restrictions: No Sugar/Gluten Free.
Responsibilities:
- Understand, manage, and execute all aspects of food cost, budgeting, sourcing and menu development.
- Create weekly fresh and healthy breakfast and dinner menus using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
- Produce and maintain the highest food quality and operating procedures.
- Assure the highest health, hygiene, sanitation, safety, and food storage standards.
- Shop, order, and acquire food, supplies, and any necessary equipment for the kitchen upon client’s approval.
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, accept direction & deliver the highest standards to meet the client’s mealtime needs.
- Ability to move about the workplace efficiently with care and consideration to noise and spatial awareness. Responsible for all shopping, restocking, and inventory management.
- Maintain and monitor all kitchen wares and equipment.
- Has a diverse experience with a variety of cuisines.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 + years Chef experience
- Culinary Degree optimal
- Food ServSafe certification
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record
